Hear the world.
KenkoEye describes visible surroundings and important objects through spoken assistance.
Help blind and visually impaired people use AI to understand, read, recognize, navigate, and participate more confidently in everyday life.
My husband, DJ, has been blind for more than 40 years. I built KenkoEye to help him understand the world around him with greater confidence.
KenkoEye works by holding up a smartphone. The user points the phone camera toward a document, label, object, doorway, or surrounding area and listens as KenkoEye provides spoken assistance.
Now our mission is to help bring that same opportunity to blind and visually impaired people who may not be able to afford a compatible smartphone or a KenkoEye subscription.
Your support helps make practical AI vision assistance available for everyday learning, communication, and independence.
KenkoEye describes visible surroundings and important objects through spoken assistance.
Printed text, documents, labels, and other information can be read aloud through the phone.
No special glasses are required. KenkoEye uses the camera and speaker on a compatible smartphone to read, describe, recognize, and assist with navigation.
