Give the Gift of Independence

Help blind and visually impaired people use AI to understand, read, recognize, navigate, and participate more confidently in everyday life.

Why KenkoEye Exists

Point the phone. Listen. Understand.

My husband, DJ, has been blind for more than 40 years. I built KenkoEye to help him understand the world around him with greater confidence.

KenkoEye works by holding up a smartphone. The user points the phone camera toward a document, label, object, doorway, or surrounding area and listens as KenkoEye provides spoken assistance.

Now our mission is to help bring that same opportunity to blind and visually impaired people who may not be able to afford a compatible smartphone or a KenkoEye subscription.
